Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21 1982. Maggie Grace is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Originating from Worthington Ohio she dropped out of high school to move to Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. Though she struggled financially, her 2001 debut was acting as Rachel's Room's main character. The television film Murder in Greenwich that she appeared in, where she played a 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace played Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. She was the main protagonist for two seasons and was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace wanted to focus on film after playing opposite Tom Welling's character, The Fog, in 2005.
