Audrey Justine Tautou (born Audrey Justine Tautou) is a French model and actor. She gained fame with her portrayal as a shy, eccentric waitress Amelie and won many awards. Tautou's charm, charisma and performance skills are the reason she has been compared with Audrey Hepburn. She is an ideal blend of appearance and talents. Although Tautou was from a prestigious family with dark hair, her parents were dentists as well as teachers. The acting profession was not the first task she ever planned to pursue. It was at school that she caught the acting bug and made the decision to pursue a career as a full-time actress. She attended acting classes at Cours Florent. She soon got a part in the television film production Coeur de cible. Venus Beauty Institute gave her a chance to make her debut feature film. The film was a huge success and she received a lot of praise because of it. The daring actress likes to experiment with a variety of roles and has acted in various genres of film that range from romantic comedies like Amelie to the action thriller Dirty Pretty Things. Born in France she appeared in a number of French films before becoming a star in her Hollywood debut alongside Tom Hanks in the film The Da Vinci Code. Models are held in high regard in regard to her fashion sense and is considered a fashionista.
